Whether it's giving a timeless feel to a wedding snap, adding a little class to that dull shot of head office or generating real creative impact for a poster, turning a digital photograph into a work of art is one of the most effective of photo-editing tricks - and hugely satisfying at the same time. What's more, if you do it right, you can produce some spectacular results with almost no artistic skill.

Most photo-editing applications from Paint Shop Pro through to Photoshop offer a batch of artistic filters designed to produce everything from watercolour to oil painting style effects. After the initial excitement though, disillusion tends to set in. To begin with there's usually no real control to these one-off effects and, when a near miss is as good as a mile, the misses far outweigh the hits. More importantly, while the results are undeniably different you couldn't really mistake them for real works of art. Let's be honest - there's a huge gap between a filtered photo and the labour of love built up by an artist over time.

Koepis XviD Codec 1.0.2

I don't know if it's illegal to have a binary distribution as well, so with downloading it you agree to keep me free of any legal issues. This binary is _just for testing the code_ and to improve it, as we can't figure every situation out ourselfes. Thanks for respecting this! :) I got involved in XviD development in january 2002, where XviD lacked a real internal curve compression algorithm for 2 pass encoding mode. That's where I started helping to modify those algorithms in a more nandub-like manner. Since then I help where I can in development.

MAKEMSI 04.238

The intention of this tool is that an MSI or merge module (any Windows database) can be manipulated or created with a very few number of lines and without writing code.

Any "common" manipulations are setup once and reused for all your MSI files. All files are in text format so easy to read and compare, you could easily create an MSI with a "hand full" of commands (I have some 2 line MSIs...).

A HTML report is created when creating an MSI (this includes a file "verify" button). Also has a MSI dump and difference tool which you will find easy to read (and MAKEMSI can also process).
